Social Media and Protected Speech

We wish we had the time, or capacity, to dig fully into the new communication wave of social media. Twitter "tweets" and Facebook likes are influence builders that fully deserve to be understood and used properly. They are, indeed, a new communication discipline. We have here, for example, a court case on whether clicking a Facebook "like" is an expression of protected freedom of speech. Six jobs are at stake in this particular action.

We thank Danny Brown for bringing this example of social media's reach to our attention.
