Cravendale, a milk company is the UK, has released a media campaign that features the Muppets. According to Campaign Live, it is one of Cravendale's first brand partnerships. If you are wondering why you may have heard of Cravendale, you may have heard of its "Milk Matters" campaign, similar to the U.S.'s "Got Milk?" campaign, which celebrates choosing milk in general. Its famous spot is the "Cats with Thumbs" one where we imagine that cats grow thumbs after drinking milk, and essentially group and take over.

Now Cravendale is partnering up with another bunch of somewhat furry creatures. The Muppets movie will be released there on February 10, and in anticipation of the film, Cravendale has produced TV and movie ads, along with branded packagaing and giveaways with the Muppets. The spot you are about to see features the Kermit backpack giveaway. The spot was from Wieden + Kennedy, with production help from Soapbox Films. The media planning and buying was done with Carat.

It is fun to see the Muppets become relevant again, especially on such a large scale. As the Muppets are rising back to stardom, it would not be surprising to see brands try to catch their coattails. If there was a brand comeback of the year award, it would be a safe bet that the Muppets would be it.
