A number of American Muslims made highly appropriate use of the Fourth of July by uploading videos to the My Faith My Voice website, where Muslims can introduce themselves to other Americans. It doesn't take more than a few seconds to affirm that Muslims are as well-spoken and relational as other Americans.

My Faith My Voice is a Washington-based, non-profit organization that created the July 4th campaign to help connect Muslims to fellow Americans. The site is a great, ever-timely example of the web's power to cut through stereotypes and present people first hand, in their own words. It makes it easy for Muslims to upload matter-of-fact, yet highly expressive, 30-second videos. Relational cheers for My Faith My Voice!
