Twitter has been plagued with harassment on its site for quite some time, and has been criticized for its lackluster response. Last week, the social media site once again made attempts to clean up its content. Twitter has formed the Twitter Trust & Safety Council, comprising 40 organizations, to assist in developing policies to combat harassment and abuse.
