We asked a friend of ours where he finds his inspiration. He said he finds it all over in everyday life — the sunrise, the flowers, and the people around him. We find inspiration at 30,000 feet when we are flying by plane. Perhaps the altitude and lack of distractions makes our brain work more freely. In the case of Patricia Nash, one of our favorite handbag designers, she finds inspiration in old world Italy.

Patricia Nash is a designer based in Tennessee. Her website describes her line perfectly with the slogan, “Let us take you to the Italian countryside with our Old World crafted leather handbags.” Some of her bags feature map drawings, others a floral, and yet others have calf skin and fringe. Her collections are designed to “bring back memories of years gone by, inspired by cherished recollections of people and places, but crafted with the modern woman in mind.”

This brand has been around since 2012, and she brings great competition to other established handbag designers. She consulted for other designers before she started her own line. She feels her customer can be all generations. The younger customer finds her trendy. The mature customer finds the handbags bring back good memories. It’s a nice brand for all ages.
