Rebel Wilson is an Australian comedian who is well known for her character Fat Amy in the movie Pitch Perfect. She was bound by her contract to remain the same size during filming of those movies and has found success in roles featuring a larger size woman. She is now releasing a line of fashion clothing for plus-size women.

Her limited edition line is called REBEL FOR TORRID. The 25-piece line debuts in Torrid stores in the U.S. and Canada next month. The line features hip, youthful looks for women in sizes 12 to 28 at affordable prices. Wilson feels it is difficult to find trendy, fashionable clothing for plus-size women and wants to fill that void.

Wilson wants to promote people being healthy and happy in their own size. There may be many reasons why people are larger, and Wilson is not judging or promoting being large. She is merely offering acceptance by allowing people of all sizes to dress in a way that is trendy and cool. Some people have difficulty gaining weight. Some people have trouble losing weight. Either way, they still should have the option of dressing cool. This new fashion line meets that need.

Rebel for Torrid will be available at Torrid, which is a women's clothing chain known for its trendy plus-size cocktail dresses, jeans, lingerie, and footwear. Wilson’s line will be a great addition to the store and her popularity will be a win for both her brand and the store’s.
