#BabyGuyBox Reason for Success

Some of the best authors will tell you that when they are writing, they don’t know what will happen next until they begin to write. The reason for this is that the characters take on a life of their own and live out the story. The author records what they live. This also happens in my research for a blog topic. A company promotes Barkbox on Facebook. The blog begins with how dogs get better treatment than cats. Further research shows that a monthly subscription box does exist for cats and actually loads of many other things. The best part of the research turned up Baby Guy. His story follows suit. His product branding took on a life of its own.

Baby Guy is a former actor from New York who needed a job and got into repping a baby product. He became so enthralled with the products that he did research and reading on baby products in his spare time and over time became known as an expert. He researched social media monetization and threw ideas at a wall until things stuck. Now he is a man who is an expert in baby products. One of his products is The Baby Guy Box. It is a monthly subscription service with products for babies, toddlers, and parents. The Baby Guy is Jamie Grayson.

Grayson was interviewed as to why he is successful. He says he treats himself as a brand and highlights what is special. He works hard to be educated on his category so that he can be trusted. He reads; he researches; he tests products. He leverages his unique aspect. He leverages the fact that he is not a mom. He is an unbiased source. To a smaller part he acknowledges being a southern gay man helps, too. Whatever makes you or your brand special or unique, own it and use it to build your brand. We wish Grayson had been around when our kids were small — well, no matter. We can use his recommendations for future grandchildren.
