Amazon Prime wants you to shop. Amazon Prime wants you to join Prime. Amazon Prime is offering a special shopping for their Prime customers on July 15 that they say will have better deals than Black Friday. Yikes, can this be true? This must be Christmas in July!

We love preferential treatment and VIP status. Amazon offers that to their customers with their Prime program. What is Prime? When you subscribe to Amazon’s Prime service, you get Free two-day shipping, movies and TV shows through instant video, unlimited music streaming, unlimited photo storage, free ebooks, and early access to special deals. That’s more than was available when we signed up. We’ll have to go back and take advantage of that photo storage!

Amazon is giving you another reason to shop with these special deals. “Prime members can shop exclusive deals from electronics, toys, video games, movies, clothing, patio, lawn and garden, sports and outdoor items and more.” Whenever a retailer can get their customers to shop, it is a good thing. Typically your “special” shoppers offer even more value when they buy. So, a special sale for their special shoppers will be sure to bring in the sales.

It’s a win for all. More customers will sign up for Prime. Current Prime customers will feel valued due to the special sale just for them. Amazon wins in sales and customer loyalty. Their vendors win by moving more product as well. It’s an all-encompassing great promotion. Need to mark this on the calendar!
