A Phone System for Entrepreneurs

Identifying, targeting, and reaching your client base can be tricky. Grasshopper is a virtual phone system designed for entrepreneurs and small businesses. They define themselves as being for entrepreneurs, and if you are one, that label or distinction calls strongly out to you. It made us take a look.

The cost of phone systems for businesses is outrageous. Small-business owners or start-ups just don’t have the money to put into those systems, yet they need to sound just as professional and have quality phone service. Grasshopper offers a way to have features like toll-free numbers, voicemail, call forwarding, and extensions for a low cost — without additional equipment. Grasshopper allows you to use your existing equipment.

The interesting part of their advertisement is their focus. They are reaching out to entrepreneurs. They selected their market and they are hitting it hard. Companies that try to be all things to all people end up satisfying no one. It is admirable that Grasshopper defined their market and stayed focused. Entrepreneurs consider themselves a unique breed. They believe they have different needs, and are different than other people. Grasshopper was smart to use that word and to focus on them. If a business calls out to them as entrepreneurs, there is instantly a connection and instantly a belief that it is understood their needs are different.

One word makes a huge difference. Grasshopper tied itself to entrepreneurs. What word is it for your customers?
