The Lexus December to Remember Annual Sales Event

There are those commercials that resonate and really evoke emotion. We are car buffs, so we really enjoy the automotive commercials. The most memorable commercial for us is the holiday version where the Lexus is wrapped in a big red bow and parked in the new owner’s driveway. While others may dream of sugar plums, we dream of a gift-wrapped Lexus.

Each year around the holidays, Lexus promotes their “December to Remember” sales event. The commercials are exciting, and we wish we were the receiver! It’s a well-done promotion and it actually doesn’t feel like Christmas until we see the commercial.

Existing customers are typically your best customers, so Lexus sends out a nice mailer promoting “December to Remember” in case you are too busy to see the commercial. The mailer is upscale, like their image, and has a clear envelope window to show the brochure inside, which is actually a gift card attached to a card. They offer a $500 loyalty incentive for current owners who want to get a new vehicle. They also offer a $25 service discount.

As a current Lexus owner, the gift card in the mailer is a nice gift. The service discount will definitely get used, and it does make us want to check out a new Lexus model. If you don’t own one and can afford it, it’s worth checking out. For us, we like our model even better than the new version. It’s like a favorite pair of jeans. December to Remember is a great promotion for a great product.
