Angie’s List was started in 1995 by Angie Hicks. She grew the company from 50 members to 1.5 million members. Now Angie’s List announced their new app called SnapFix, which they claim will give you back your Saturday.

Does your Honey Do list contain a lot of wonderful projects? Normally Angie’s List can allow you to find a recommended service provider to complete the project. Their new app goes one step further. The customer will make a service request by uploading a picture and selecting days for the service to be performed. Angie’s List's concierge team responds with options of highly rated companies to perform the job and oftentimes quotes.

The app focuses on specific services including plumbing, handyman, electrical, roofing, HVAC, housecleaning, landscaping, interior painting, moving, tree service, pest control, and yard work.

This service addresses the issue of calling service companies, getting no response, and waiting. It is time-consuming and frustrating. Now instead you can spend your Saturday relaxing or enjoying activities with family and friends while still getting your honey do list completed.

A picture doesn’t always capture everything that needs to be done and can be misleading. The contractors with high quality ratings are aware of this, and many times an appointment will be made to capture an in-depth quote. It’s kind of like going straight to the top and getting your question answered.

It requires having trust in the process and relying on the contractors they send your way. This is how Angie’s List has built her reputation, so that part is solid. But saving time and frustration...that’s exactly what we all hope to do with our projects. We’re not seeing a downside to the SnapFix app. It’s a great natural product extension.
