Even though Black Friday and Cyber Monday are behind us, there are still tons of deals available from both online and brick-and-mortar retailers through the remainder of the holiday season. The time spent finding holiday deals and then pursuing the best deal at the nearest retailer can be a burdensome task, but in the age of mobile technology, be it smartphones or tablets, things have changed.

Below are five apps that can help ease your shopping woes in a few different ways from saving money to finding the quickest route to a particular store in a mall filled with more than 400 stores.

1. Price Comparison Shopping: Red Laser
The Red Laser app allows you to do your research and then make the smartest purchase decision all without having to leave the app. It offers price comparisons, price searching at nearby stores, and purchasing from your phone for in-store pick-up or home delivery.

2. Interactive Mall Guide: Fast Mall
With the Fast Mall app you can cut your mall time in half with turn-by-turn directions to a specific store, eatery, or even the nearest restroom. The app’s navigation features do not require an Internet or GPS connection to work. The same developers behind this app are planning on adding theme parks, airports, hospitals, and convention centers to its interactive app roster.

3. Product Impact on Humanity: Good Guide
You enter the mall seeking outerwear for the outdoorsy type on your list and a few snacks for your little nieces and nephews who you’ve agreed to babysit while the parents go holiday shopping over the weekend. Within a few minutes you become overwhelmed with thoughts about how healthy, ethical, or green the snack options are. Good Guide has an app that can answer all of those questions regarding your purchase options with a simple scan of the product barcode.

4. Secure Mobile Shopping: Lookout
With mobile purchases on the rise as consumers get more comfortable with smartphones and tablet devices, hackers are seeing greater potential in breaking into mobile devices too. The Lookout app offers security to protect, back up, and remotely control your personal data, in addition to numerous features to help you locate a lost or stolen phone.

5. Tracking Online Purchases: Slice
This app organizes and files all your purchase information, whether it’s an online order receipt, shipping notification, or an electronic receipt from a local store purchase. One of the best parts is if the price of an item you purchased decreases and you could be eligible for a price adjustment with the retailer, the app will send you a notification.
