As brands scramble to keep up with Facebook's changes to brand pages, Twitter has announced its own changes as well.

Currently, brand pages are still very similar to user pages, but Twitter plans to add "experiences" like e-commerce later this year. Enhancing brand pages would provide benefits for Twitter as well, as the network desires to have Twitter.com "be a destination where users linger instead of a portal that dispatches them elsewhere through outbound links." Considering that the number of Twitter users grows by hundreds of thousands per day, it's certainly an ever-expanding network.

What kind of features would you like to see on Twitter brand pages?
